While out and about I saw this mini-grater and thought it would be perfect for the budgies.
For their food! Not to use on the budgies! Sheesh.
I grated up some carrot, broccoli and apple (organic, of course)*. Clean up was a breeze!
*I may have added some millet to entice them…
And the budgies enjoyed their feast. Yay!

Her favorite toy, pastime and treat at the moment is all rolled into one! She is slowly destroying the living room wall. Eating it, playing with it and providing herself plenty of entertainment!

Look what I brought home today!
Nope, it’s not a Doodlebug.
It’s an adorable budgie! I picked it up at the animal shelter. It’s another mystery bird – it was found outdoors and has no leg band. It will be in quarantine for a month, but the budgies are already chirping back and forth. Not sure of it’s age or whether it’s male or female. I’ll have to ask the experts on http://talkbudgies.com/. And of course, the little cutie will need a name…
