Sido got the large heart, but is keeping her distance at the moment…
Our budgies love chew logs. Harry takes off the twine and fastens the log to a piece of wood with a screw. This way, it’s stable and more of the birds have access.
CooperOzzieLera and CoopieEmmy does her partTeamwork!Ozzie and EmmyOzzie is a chewing machine. The flock goes through a log pretty quickly (and make a huge mess). The beginnings of the mess. I think I swept up at least 5 times that day.
Cooper investigates.Sunny investigates. And goes for it.Felix is shy. Lera looking sweet.Emmy was hesitant at first. But soon got into the destructo spirit. She’s been working on the tree all day. All the other budgies come and go to give it a nibble, but this is HER toy – so watch out!
Susan brought these cute little toys to my attention. What child (or adult) wouldn’t want one of these as a holiday gift? The birds come single or with a cage and they can chirp, sing and repeat phrases. Best of all – no poop!Of course I had to get one. Cooper checks out the competition…
They require 2 AAA batteries. Collect them all!
I don’t know the name of this one, but it’s from Paradise Bird Toys.Cooper decides if it’s worth her time (it was).I switched out the parts from last month’s (scary) toy. The budgies love it now. Who can resist a mirror and shreddable marshmallows? This one I only put in when I’m there to supervise – I don’t want any budgies to get tangled or stuck.
