They’re the Ice Cream Cone Talon Toys from A Bird Toy.
Cooper (above) and Ozzie (below) were the first to take a nibble.Sido gets a cone all to herself.
Just in time for March Madness!
It’s the ActiviToys Basketball by J.W. Pet Company.
The budgies were wary of this one, so I put some millet in the basket.
That seemed to do the trick.
Now we just need two more budgies for our female Basketbird team.
It’s the Sunflower from Planet Pleasures.
I don’t think the budgies have really noticed their new toy yet. But Cooper, Sunny and Ozzie look cute next to it.
I don’t know the name of this one – it’s from our local bird store.
This one is a hit. All the photos I took of the budgies chewing on it were blurry – they were non-stop motion.
I did get one photo of Emmy “posing”. And one of Cooper and Sunny looking like they are good at sharing (they’re not).
It’s the “Round Balsa and Zigzag Shredder” from Mighty Bird Toys. Our birds love both balsa and the shredders, so I bought two.
Here’s Sunny taking out a chunk. Emmy is waiting her turn.
Here are Ozzie and Felix. The boys are a little better at sharing. But only a little.
It’s the Fire Ring Bird Toy from Happy Beaks. I didn’t realize how big this toy was when I ordered it. But that’s good – our birds are supershredders.
Here is Ozzie with a test nibble and Sunny and Cooper showing him how it’s done.
It’s the Wiggles and Wafers toy from Super Bird Creations.
Coops starts with purple.
It’s the Balsa Trap by Pet Terrific.
This wood on this toy is balsa – which the budgies LOVE. And which doesn’t last very long.
The girls destroyed the balsa within an hour. I had to make sure the boys got some play time, too. Maybe I just need to buy a big old hunk of balsa…
It’s the Duo Foraging Star from Bonka Bird Toys? I think. That’s what it says on the tag, but it looks nothing like what I originally ordered.
But the budgies don’t seem to care. The girls immediately started playing with it. This is the only photo that wasn’t a blur of budgie motion.
