Uh, remember that toy from 3 posts ago? The one I thought would last for more than a week? Well, this one* was on a mission to prove me wrong.
*with a little help from Cooper and Ozzie.
She nibbled so much on the blue block that her beak turned blue.
I couldn’t get a photo of it, but her tongue was blue, too.
She went through 4 of the yucca pieces in 2 days.
Here she is posing with her “kill”.
Here she is in action:
Pardon the poops (some of which, by the way, were blue).
It’s what all the (cool) kids want for Christmas this year!
The P-chan comes programmed with some Japanese phrases and you can record up to 7 phrases of your own for it to repeat back to you.
The green bird (Morippi) is a bit of a comedian and will entertain you with the occasional Japanese pun.
The pink bird (Ohanappi) is a bit of a diva.
The blue bird (Sorappi) is a romantic and may surprise you with an unexpected declaration of love.
Which one is your favorite?
Because we love them so, Cooper and Dewey got two toys this month.
This little thingie is a foot toy.
Dewey is working on tearing it apart.
The other toy is a
parrot parakeet piñata.
I hope Cooper won’t be disappointed when she discovers it’s not filled with millet.
Maria von Trapp and Oprah Winfrey aren’t the only ones who have favorite things.
Cooper loves Dewey’s piñata toy. Chewing on the blue elastic knot is especially fun.
Maybe a little too much fun…
More or less.
So what did Cooper get for her birthday?
A bigger cage – and lots of new toys (to share with Dewey).
Happy hatch day Cooper!
It’s April! Time for a new toy. This one’s called the “Star Gazer”
Cooper went to the bird store yesterday to get his nails did.
Here he is in the car before his trim.
He did a great job – so of course he got a brand new toy.
