Each poem is illustrated with an amusing drawing. Chapters include: Funny Folk, Vicious Verses, Tricky Tongue Twisters, etc. Cooper&#8217;s favorite category was Curious Creatures and her favorite poem (of course) was &#8220;Never Nudge a Budgie&#8221;.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cooperscorner.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/2-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18050\" src=\"http:\/\/cooperscorner.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/2-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1323\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cooperscorner.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/2-1.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/cooperscorner.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/2-1-227x300.jpg 227w, https:\/\/cooperscorner.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/2-1-768x1016.jpg 768w, https:\/\/cooperscorner.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/2-1-774x1024.jpg 774w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cooper would have preferred that <em>all<\/em> the poems were about budgies, but was thrilled that a budgie poem was included.
