A budgie’s tail – part two Posted on July 24, 2012 by Michelle M. Dewey’s turn – the little guy has lost his tail feathers!
I think he’s relieved. When we got him, they were bent up at a funny angle. We’re hoping the new ones will grow in nice and straight. Reply ↓
That’s too bad – they make such fun toys : ). Cooper and Dewey fight over who gets to nibble the flight and tail feathers. Reply ↓
Isn’t there a Disney song, or some song, called “Shake Your Tailfeathers”? That would be appropriate here, non? HUGS…. Reply ↓

Poor Dewey! I hope they grow back soon!
If they grow as fast as Cooper’s did, it will take about 18 days.
He needs a hug.
And a toy.
Little Dewey looks worried…. “What happened to my tail?”
He had a lot of fun playing with them once they fell out, though : ).
My budgie is afraid of his molted feathers :O
