Besse Cooper – born August 26, 1896
Besse Berry Cooper (née Brown) is an American supercentenarian. A former teacher, she is the world’s oldest living person. Today she turns 116.
Cooper reputedly attributes her longevity to “minding her own business” and avoiding junk food.
Happy birthday Besse!
Wow. She looks pretty good too. Probably good advice. Happy Birthday Bessie.
Happy Birthday, Bessie! My 92 year old grandmother attributes her longevity to “never eating vegetables.”
Way to go, Besse!
I’m glad Besse managed to hang on until this posted.
I like to think that when the reporter asked “How did you live so long?” she just yelled “Mind your own business!” so the reported just went with that.
