Two years ago we brought our little Alfie home from the animal shelter.

They handed him to me in a box. I had no idea what he looked like until I got him home. What a wonderful surprise to find such an adorable budgie!

Alfie (who narrowly escaped the name “Captain Underpants”) has been such a joy to us over the past two years. His antics always make us laugh, and he’s a sweetheart to boot.

What a wonderful difference from picture one to picture three. Love and care and of course, good company have changed Alfie from a skinny shelter bird to a magnificent hunk. That guy could qualify as GENERAL underpants, now! Much admiration from

They found him in the great outdoors. No telling how long he was out there. I’m astounded no one was looking for him!
