I’ve often noticed in your pictures that everything’s so clean… No dropped feathers…. No dropped droppings…
I’ve wondered: Do you clean up the bird room or do you clean up the pictures?
How do you do that with so many birds?
Well, the cages and floor are cleaned every day. I tend to take photos after the “work” is done. For this photo, I just swept up the feathers and took a photo of them. Before that, they were all over. And this is just a few of the birds moulting. When they all moult at the same time, it’s bananas.
Wow, that is a lot of feathers! I remember the first time that my first pair of budgies molted and it was something like that 🙂
There were even more this morning! I don’t know how they aren’t naked.

I love the picture of the feathers
Time to make a budgie down pillow.
Don’t sneeze! XD
Or even breathe!
I just realized all your chicks are blue.
They are! It’s fate. But who knows, maybe one day we’ll have a little green in our lives…
Each and every feather is perfect–Not a raggedy one in the bunch. How DO you keep their plumage so very healthy looking all the time…!?
