New year – new calendar! I ordered this little budgie datebook from RaktenJapan. It’s a 2015 and 2016 monthly calendar. The months are in English – but there are Japanese characters as well. In the back are pages for addresses and notes (even some graph paper) and maps to the subway stations in Japan. There are even stickers so you can note important events. Like your budgies’ birthdays.
I was so happy to see these sparkly little budgies in a local store.
They’re the Merck Family’s Old World Christmas Miniature Parakeets.
No Christmas tree is complete without one (or two!).

Susan brought these cute little toys to my attention. What child (or adult) wouldn’t want one of these as a holiday gift? The birds come single or with a cage and they can chirp, sing and repeat phrases. Best of all – no poop!

It’s a little gold(ish) budgie pin.
