Movie review – The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill

This month’s movie was The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill.

The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill is a documentary about a flock of wild parrots in San Francisco and their interaction with  Mark Bittner, a homeless street musician who cares for the birds.

Cooper loved this movie. She enjoyed hearing the stories about Connor, Mingus, Tupelo, Picasso, Sophie, etc. She laughed, she cried and she chirped.

Her favorite bird was Smitty, a blue budgie who made a brief appearance in the movie. Cooper thinks he should have been the film’s star.

Meet Allen!

Allen is about one year old and lives with Iva.

He loves to fly, and his favorite treat is millet spray. He also really likes lettuce, and his favorite toy is whatever one has a bell on it 🙂 He LOVES bells.

By the way, his cage is HUGE; dimensions are 31-inches long, 20-1/2-inches wide, 53-inches high.  He’s spoiled.
