We Miss You!
The flock really misses Michelle. She went to AZ to visit family and had a freak accident while ice skating, breaking her leg in multiple spots just above the ankle. The budgies were hoping to see her tonight, but she’ll be out for another couple days. Here’s a video of the main flock because I know she would love to see them.
Cooper’s Day Off
365 Days of Sunny
Oops
Michelle is gone for the weekend and I was left in charge. I forgot what I needed to do for a post and took a picture of Cooper and Sunny. After talking to Michelle, I remembered (after being told) that I was supposed to take a photo of the new bird. Yay!I didn’t like how that turned out, so I took the top off the cage and… spooked her with my camera. Eeks! She flew away and crawled under the couch. After much coaxing, I managed to get her here.Welcome to the flock, Nuni! (That’s not her name, I just like to call her that).
Movin’ On Up
A while ago something arrived in the mail.
(insert “What’s in the box?” joke here)It was a brand new cage for the budgies! Harry put it together.Cooper “coopervised”.Here’s Cooper deciding if Harry’s work is acceptable.Once she deemed the cage suitable, the budgies moved in.Alfie is never far from a bell.Cooper was not too excited about having her picture taken – she is moulting and doesn’t feel she looks her best. Sunny was too busy taking apart the marshmallow toy to pose.Emmy sitting pretty. The cage has a divider, which is up at present. Until Emmy is finger tamed we have her separated from the others. Ozzie spends his time going back and forth between sides.Which is easy to do when you have your own airplane!
Tweethearts!
We have a love match! Ozzie has really taken to Emmy. Lots of nuzzling and kisses going on with these two. I’m so happy that Ozzie has finally found a little girlfriend. Now we just have to get Ozzie to tell Emmy to relax and step up so we can have her join the rest of the flock.
Here are Ozzers and Emmers in action:
