Movie review – Birders: The Central Park Effect
This month’s movie is Birders: The Central Park Effect.
This documentary follows a group of birdwatchers as they observe the many different species of birds who migrate through Central Park.
Cooper enjoyed looking at the many types of birds.
She is partial to blue birds…

It’s National Comic Book Day!
One of Cooper’s favorite comic books is Strange Adventures which includes the story “Prisoner of the Parakeets”.
“Imprisoned by flock of mammoth birds on an isolated island in the South Pacific, an atomic scientist has to pit his wits against super-intelligent parakeets that threaten to dominate all life on earth.”
Unfortunately, John Walden defeats the budgies.
