August 29th is Clear the Shelters Day – but any day is a good day to adopt a feathered friend.
Tippi is one of our adopted birds. We brought her home from the San Diego Humane Society in 2024.

This year we’ve decided to donate Cooper’s earnings from her Redbubble and Zazzle stores to G’Day Birdie Sanctuary.
G’Day Birdie Sanctuary is in its sixth year of operation and is located in Warragul, Victoria, Australia. They work closely with veterinary clinics, pounds, shelters, local authorities, and the general public to provide medical care and sanctuary for various small birds who are lost, unable to survive on their own in the wild, or who were surrendered. G’Day has provided care to over 350 birds in need and is home to many species of birds – budgerigars, canaries, finches, sparrows, kakarikis, doves, and even a starling.

Cooper has a shop on Redbubble. We donate what she makes (after Redbubble takes its cut) to her favorite bird rescues. Tippi has taken over the tradition – this is the sixth year we will be adopting a turkey through Farm Sanctuary.
This year Tippi adopted Julie.
