So we let Cooper, Dewey and Ozzie out of their cages.
And that happened.
But then Dewey and Ozzie settled down. Now they’re little buddies and like to be together. Dewey even chases Cooper off when she gets too close to them. I’m not sure if Dewey wants Ozzie all to himself or if he doesn’t want Cooper and Ozzie to become little sweethearts.
They’re still establishing a pecking order, and can’t be alone without supervision. But it looks promising…
Someone is missing a throat spot.
Could it be Cooper?
Nope.
Maybe it’s Dewey?
Nope.
I guess that just leaves…
Yep, it’s Ozzie!
Ozzie is venturing out more often and is even flying laps around the room (he’s still working on his landing, though). It won’t be long before he’s ready to meet Cooper and Dewey.

So what did the budgies get for Christmas this year?
Just kidding.
The budgies were very good this year, so they got lots of toys and treats.
That’s more like it.
This ball thingie was pretty popular.
The budgies also got presents from their friend Adam.
Dewey’s present was a piñata with lots of stuff to chew on.
Ozzie’s present was a toy with wooden shapes to chew and a shiny bell to ring.
And Cooper’s present was a big bag of everyone’s favorite treat – millet! I wonder if she’ll share?

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there (to stuff them with millet).
Cooper and company made the big time!
Neatorama (one of my favorite sites) was posting holiday pet pictures on their website, so I sent in some pics of Cooper, Dewey and Ozzie. And they posted them. Yay!!
