Adopt a Rescued Bird Month
Ozzie, Alfie and Sido were all adopted from our local rescues and Sunny, Emmy, Gordie, Lera, Felix and Harvey are all rehomed (Craigslist). They have brought so much joy and love into our lives.
If you are thinking of adding a bird to your family, please consider adopting. These birds have so much to give and deserve a second chance at a loving, forever home.
In the Spotlight – Sido
It’s difficult to get a photo of Sido. She does not like the camera. And she is always in motion.
Sido loves a bath and will nibble her toys, but she is happiest when she is on a human or receiving scritches (which we are happy to give).
She also likes to hang out with Harry on the couch, or take a nap on my lap. She is our little darling.

Sido likes to just hang on to this toy’s link – like it’s a pacifier. Usually it’s the pink link, but I guess she decided to switch things up a little.
