Movie review – Mr. Popper’s Penguins
This month’s movie is Mr. Popper’s Penguins
Mr. Popper’s Penguins is about a workaholic in New York City who inherits a penguin (he acquires even more penguins when trying to return the first one). While the penguins interfere with his job, they bring him closer to his estranged family.
Cooper’s favorite parts of the movie were when the penguins slide down the aisle of the Guggenheim museum and when Captain (a penguin) flies with the help of a kite. She also liked that the boy Mr. Popper’s daughter has a crush on was named “Cooper” (even though Cooper is a girl’s/budgie’s name).
Dewey’s favorite parts of the movie were when the penguins pooped.
Ozzie thought Mr. Popper’s Parakeets would have made a better movie.

Meet Snowy!
Snowy lives in Staffordshire, United Kingdom.
Snowy was a shy little thing when we first got her two months ago. Now she is a feisty little hen who chirps up a storm everyday.
She loves hanging out with her pal Nana and taking a bath. She loves anything she can shred and anything with a bell and a jangly noise. Her favourite treats are – yep you guessed it!!! Millet and Cress!! She loves tearing it to shreds straight from the soil.
Hello!
Ozzie is venturing out more often and is even flying laps around the room (he’s still working on his landing, though). It won’t be long before he’s ready to meet Cooper and Dewey.

Footie toys! This is (was) the “Star Munch” from Super Bird Creations. Cooper loves to nibble on it and drag it around. It’s also fun to drop over the side of a table/shelf and take away from Dewey if he’s playing with it.
So I bought two for the budgies, so they could each play with one. But whichever one Dewey is playing with is the one Cooper wants. Sigh.
