Yesterday we went to Free Flight’s Brunch with the Birds. It was a beautiful day. It was good to visit with the birds and the people who work and volunteer at the sanctuary.
Midori is always picture perfect.
Baby Bird wants OUT. She did come out for some head scritches, she has a head full of pinnies.
Timmy is such a sweet fellow.
Little Echo.
Beautiful Blizzard.

It’s the Balsa Trap by Pet Terrific.
This wood on this toy is balsa – which the budgies LOVE. And which doesn’t last very long.
The girls destroyed the balsa within an hour. I had to make sure the boys got some play time, too. Maybe I just need to buy a big old hunk of balsa…
I don’t know this little one’s name, but I’m impressed.
And this little one can spin (in both directions), loop the loop and shake hands… er, feet (which is even better)!

In case you need to clean your floor (if you have birds, I’m sure you do).
And some budgies in shoes.

Meet Popcorn!
Popcorn lives in Australia with Caitlin and Brock.
Popcorn enjoys watching YouTube with us. He loves music so he can talk loudly over the top of it. Millet is his favourite treat.
When he was a baby he was a light sky blue colour – now he is turquoise green.
His favourite toy is his silver bell that he is often pictured with.
Popcorn is on facebook. You can see more photos and videos of him here.
Happy Easter!

Today is Sido’s birthday!
Because she is adopted, we don’t know how old she really is.
Here she is with one of her new toys.
Sido also had a long head scritching session and feasted on millet. Happy Hatchday Sido – we love you!
