Cooper’s Cuties
Meet Gizmo (right) and Tobias (left)!
Gizmo and Toby live in Western Australia.
Gizmo’s favourite toy is his bell, he likes to stick his head up it and wear it like a hat to snooze. If he gets in trouble, he hides his head in the bell thinking if he can’t see me then I can’t see him. We play lots of games with his bell too.
Toby on the other hand loves his mirror. He is a vain little boy and loves nothing more than to sit in front of the mirror talking to himself. He wolf whistles every time I walk into the room which makes me laugh. He & Gizmo are the best of friends.

A Perfect Perch
A little while ago I bought a platform perch for Emmy. Because her left foot doesn’t have much of a grip, she would have another place to rest. 
The perch was a success. So much so, that the budgies have been squabbling over it. So, I bought another one.
The perches come with an attached footie toy (I took them off to give the budgies a little more room). 
The perches are 4 inches by 4 inches (they come in various sizes). You can find the perches at HappyWings on Etsy.

Janet has two tickets to the Frank Sinatra concert, but doesn’t want them. Jack and Chrissy compete in doing favors for Janet hoping to win them. But who cares?! It’s all about Mr. Roper’s parakeet. Mr. Roper thinks his male parakeet needs a female companion. The Ropers have an anniversary coming up, so Mr. Roper buys a female parakeet as a gift for Mrs. Roper (what a wonderful gift!). He entrusts the roommates to care for the parakeet so that it will be a surprise. Of course, hijinks and hilarity ensue.

Birthday Budgie
Look who’s 3(ish)!
Here’s Lera taking apart her present.
And it wouldn’t be a birthday without millet.
Lera has had a tough year. Her abdomen fills up with fluid, so she’s had lots of visits to the vet to have withdrawals. But Lera is scrappy and a little firecracker. We’re hoping to celebrate many more birthdays with her. Happy birthday Lera – we love you!
