Movie review – Mr. Popper’s Penguins

This month’s movie is Mr. Popper’s Penguins

popperMr. Popper’s Penguins is about a workaholic in New York City who inherits a penguin (he acquires even more penguins when trying to return the first one). While the penguins interfere with his job, they bring him closer to his estranged family.

pop2Cooper’s favorite parts of the movie were when the penguins slide down the aisle of the Guggenheim museum and when Captain (a penguin) flies with the help of a kite. She also liked that the boy Mr. Popper’s daughter has a crush on was named “Cooper” (even though Cooper is a girl’s/budgie’s name).

Dewey’s favorite parts of the movie were when the penguins pooped.

Ozzie thought Mr. Popper’s Parakeets would have made a better movie.
