We were watching House Hunters the other night, when all of a sudden – BUDGIES!
The house hunting couple was visiting the budgie aviary at the John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They have over 300 budgies. You can even hand feed them!
Zoo Atlanta and the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston also have awesome budgie aviaries.
Too bad the World Famous San Diego Zoo doesn’t have a budgie aviary.
Maybe this town’s only big enough for two budgies…
It’s National Fortune Cookie Day!
Cooper’s fortune. Yikes. Hopefully she’s not planning something too mischievous.

New toy – September
It’s new toy time (again)!
This is the “Tinker Bell” from Pet Terrific. A budgie can never have too many bells.
Here is Cooper ringing the bells while Dewey patiently waits his turn.

Here’s Cooper playing with the footie toys (dropping toys over the side is fun) and chasing Dewey away from “her” toys. I love the part where she falls over.

What do you do when you have no idea what to post?
Go to the bird store and buy your budgies a new toy. Here is Cooper checking out their new footie toy (with marshmallow!). Once it’s deemed “safe”, then Dewey will play with it, too.
