We decided to bring Dewey home as a companion for Cooper, and then we adopted Ozzie, and then Sunny, Emmy, Alfie, Gordie, Lera, Felix, Harvey and Riley. If it weren’t for Cooper, we would have never had these sweet, funny, feisty little budgies in our lives.

Today we celebrated Sido’s Hatchday. We adopted Sido from a rescue, so we don’t know how old she really is (this is her 9th year with us). 

Here is Sido with her hatchday millet.

And here she is with her hatchday present – a foraging box. So far she’s just perched on the edge, but I’m sure she’ll dive in when she figures out there are tasty snacks to look for.
Of course, she got lots of hatchday scritches, too.
