Sunny thinks she owns the paper towels and chases the other budgies away. I put her in the cage so that Cooper could have a turn.
She went nuts watching Cooper playing with HER towels, so I had to let her out.
This had been happening recently:
One of the budgies was knocking the seed cups down, spilling perfectly good seed on the bottom of the cage. We suspected Dewey. Though mild-mannered, he has been known to knock around the food cup when it has too many pellets (and not enough oats) in it. But to be sure, we set up the CooperCam to see who the culprit was. We later fast forwarded through three hours of footage and saw this:
It was Sunny! This little one definitely has a naughty streak.
Harry got to work and budgie-proofed the seed cups.
Your move, budgies.
Cooper and Ozzie did a great job on their photo shoots, so they got a little treat.

Awww. Makes me want to move to Australia. Well, except for all of those flies…
Ozzie recently took his first bath. He loved it! The budgies are pretty good at taking turns (well, they do squabble a bit). But the tub is tiny – a bigger one is definitely in order.
