Cooper has a light blue cere and is our only budgie with a band on her leg.
Gordie has larger throat spots than Ozzie. And not that you can see, but Ozzie has a little white patch on the back of his head.

A few weeks ago Cooper weighed in at 50 grams. So our little booper went on a diet.She nibbled on broccoli.And salad.Eating upside down helps you burn calories!I caught her sneaking food while I was cleaning the cage. Naughty!Cooper knew that weigh-in day was approaching, so she decided to drop her tail feathers. Every little bit helps.

Cooper has another tip for slimming down. Throw all your pellets away!

Here she is on the new scale. 43 grams! Good job Cooper!

New Play Gym

The budgies have a new play gym.This is how it came. We changed it up a bit by adding a grapevine perch and some new toys.Sunny went right into destructo mode.Lera sitting pretty by the bell.Cooper hanging out on the swing. The boys enjoyed the gym, too. But they were so active all their photos were blurry. Busy, busy budgies!
