Christmas Wrap Up
Millet and toys! What more does a birdie want?

Has it been 5 years already? Time is certainly flying by. Cooper and the flock want to thank all their friends who come by the blog or check facebook to see what they’re up to.
Here’s to another 5 years. Or more!
The Chew Crew
Our budgies love chew logs. Harry takes off the twine and fastens the log to a piece of wood with a screw. This way, it’s stable and more of the birds have access.

Ozzie is a chewing machine.
The flock goes through a log pretty quickly (and make a huge mess).
The beginnings of the mess. I think I swept up at least 5 times that day.
Clear the Shelters
Clear the Shelters, a nationwide pet adoption event, takes place today. Nearly 20,000 pets found a forever home at last year’s drive. 
Both Alfie and Ozzie were adopted from the County of San Diego Department of Animal Services. Sido was adopted from the Free Flight Exotic Bird Sanctuary.
If you’re thinking of adding a pet to your family, please consider adoption. There are many pets in the shelters and rescues who need loving homes.
